Six weeks before an AP exam, start with two diagnostic weeks — a mix of multiple choice and free response across all units — to establish a baseline score-band prediction.

Weeks three and four are for focused improvement. Use the unit-by-unit breakdown to identify your weakest two or three areas, alternating concept review with FRQ practice graded against real rubric descriptors.

Week five moves to full-length, timed practice exams — pacing and stamina matter as much as content at this stage.

The final week is review only: revisit FRQ feedback, redo missed questions, and study rubric language so you know what graders are looking for.

Expect your predicted score band to plateau or dip slightly during weeks three and four — that's normal and often means you're working on harder material.
