From the parent dashboard, open the subject your child is currently working on and select 'Join session'. If they're not currently in a session, you can start one together directly.

Once joined, the tutor addresses both participants by name and adapts its explanations to account for both of your levels of background knowledge — which often means brief asides explaining things your child already knows.

Co-learning works best when you participate as a learner yourself, asking genuine questions rather than supervising. This models the same curiosity and productive struggle that makes the tutor effective for your child.

Either participant can leave the session at any time without ending it for the other.
