Streaks and XP are designed to encourage consistency, not intensity. A 20-minute session every day builds a stronger habit — and better retention — than a single three-hour session once a week.

A good baseline routine: 15-20 minutes on your hardest subject first (when you have the most focus), then a shorter review session later using flashcards or quiz mode for something you covered earlier in the week.

XP is awarded for completing sessions, demonstrating mastery gains, and maintaining streaks — but it's a side effect of good study habits, not the goal itself. If you find yourself doing low-effort sessions just to keep a streak alive, it's worth resetting and rebuilding the habit more sustainably.

If you miss a day, don't try to 'catch up' by doubling the next session. Just pick back up at your normal pace — consistency over time matters more than any single day.
